Brodie was drafted into the AFL system at pick 26 to the Fremantle Football Club.

Ray Mooney - Author Crime Writer
Author crime writer his plays have been produced in Australian theatres.
In 1968 Mooney was sentenced to 12 years jail for violence and sent to HM Prison Pentridge.
While in prison he befriended cell mate Christopher Dale Flannery, who was accused of being a prolific contract killer known as "Mr Rent-a-kill". Mooney became the first prisoner in Australia to complete
a university degree while still in jail. Upon his release in 1975, he studied drama
at the Victorian College of the Arts and formed two theatre companies
'Governor’s Pleasure' a theatre company of ex-prisoners and ZAP Community Theatre.
Mooney wrote the play 'Everynight Everynight' based on his experiences in Pentridge Prison.
A film adaptation of the play was made in 1994 and was nominated for an AFI Award

John Wayne Parr - 10 Times World Kick Boxing Champion
John first began training in taekwondo at the age of 11 and began earning recognition
for his fighting when he competed in the QE2 Stadium and won the silver medal.
He competed in his first kickboxing match at the age of 14
began fighting professionally at 16 and went on to win his first Australian title at the age of 17.
In 2001 he began boxing and won the Australian Middleweight title that same year.
Australian kickboxer and ten-time World Champion. He has won several titles
including the famous 2013 WKA World Middleweight Oriental Championship and the 2010 Thai boxing World Middleweight Championship. He is also known for having a documentary made about his life entitled 'Blessed With Venom'
and fought against Duane Ludwig at the K-1 World MAX 2004
